Education: Washington & Lee University (B.A., cum laude, 1975), Cumberland School of Law of Samford University (J.D., cum laude, 1978). Author: Comment, "Prejudgment Interest: An Element of Damages Not to Be Overlooked," 8 Cumberland Law Review 521, 1977. Member: Alabama State Bar, Virginia State Bar; American Bar Association; Alabama Defense Lawyers Association; National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel.

Mr. Williams has trial experience in the areas of insurance, medical malpractice, product liability, railroad, business litigation, personal injury and workmen's compensation defense litigation. He has also handled a number of substantial appellate matters before the Alabama Supreme Court and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
